Working towards efficient and effective groundwater management strategies for Western Williamson County through a non-partisan dialogue. We believe in private property rights and know that with effective management strategies, each and every private landowner of Western Williamson County will be afforded an opportunity to develop their groundwater resources.
The Aquifer Conservation Alliance is a non-profit organization seeking to educate and advocate for the residents, business owners, and developers in Western Williamson County on the issues surrounding our groundwater supply.
We exist to pursue long term and meaningful solutions to the problems threatening the long-term health and productivity of our aquifer system.
Western Williamson County has had unprecedented growth in the last decade. This, combined with the growing unregulated use of wells, slow replenish rate of the Trinity Aquifer, and rapidly increasing dry well reports indicate that the time for a Groundwater Conservation District is now.
Your contribution helps with necessary legal fees and costs associated with public education and getting our message heard. Thank you for supporting the Aquifer Conservation Alliance!
